We strongly believe in marriage institution as the right platform for
success. Marriage nourishment ministry is designed to build and strengthen couples
with a God kind of marriage lifestyle. Parental techniques which enable parents,
care-givers and guardians with the right tools as they raise the youngsters discover
their way.

We offer basic Christian counseling and debriefing on spiritual and
emotional well-being with main focus on addiction (Drug awareness & Road to
Recovery), anger management, trauma containment, grief and family therapy.

We offer full mediation service centered on peace building, conflict
resolution and integration to different communities.

We offer life coaching and personal dream development to all age
groups. Our dream-building among other areas help clients on self esteem,
goal-setting and interpersonal skills.

We believe there’s no dustbin for human-beings; that’s the need of restoring human
dignity through practical intervention. Our pastoral care is designed to minister God’s
love and life developmental programs especially to homeless, destitute, and drug
addicts in Johannesburg inner city.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to
preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim
liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are
oppressed” (Luke 4:18). We share the gospel message by means of contextual
teaching and offer prayers to our community.

We run a soup kitchen where we give out a proper meal, clothing and
food parcels.

We also raise and nurture those who for some reason or the other have had
to live and grow in the streets without any parental guidance and support.

We also facilitate reunification of disjointed families’ dues to various
reasons.

We offer addiction counseling and facilitate support group therapy
program. We also help with rehabilitation process for those who have been challenged
with addiction.

We invite you to consider partnering with us on resource mobilization in our
community development programs. Our rehabilitation program demands removal of
our clients from the toxic environment into proper facilities. Our clients are not able to
fund the rehabilitation process. We’re appealing to friends, well-wishers, individuals
and cooperate to financial partner with us.
Be assured that any contribution or donation to this ministry area is never abused but
is professionally administered by a board of Good Shepherd. Partners are more than
welcome to visit the area of operation for your own personal assessment.
